A Jesus-modeled discipleship movement for Portland's parachurch communities — moving believers from faithful fellowship into active, citywide mission.
Across the city, faithful men, women, and youth gather in fellowship. They study Scripture together, encourage one another, and grow in their love for God. And yet, the voice of the collective Body remains largely unheard in the neighborhoods, schools, and streets of Portland.
Not for lack of desire. Not for lack of faith. But because fellowship, left to itself, tends toward the comfortable and the familiar. Jesus never intended the gathering to be the destination. It was always meant to be the beginning.
Growth happened on mission — not merely in meetings.
Every stage of the OneStep PDX discipleship path mirrors the progression Jesus used with His own disciples. Not a program. A pattern — proven across two thousand years.
Prepare disciples for mission. Abiding, gospel foundation, obedience, character, love, perseverance.
Identity before activity. Fellowship rooted in who Christ is and what His Kingdom is about.
One step out. Mission assignments, community presence, relational proximity to Portland's people.
Questions as curriculum. Debrief, reflect, and internalize what God is doing on mission.
Apply biblical truth to lived experience. Let mission become the classroom.
Invest in others. Intentional relationships. The mark of a maturing disciple.
Steward influence. Lead from character, not position. Serve the mission and the people.
Raise the next generation. Invest in those who will carry the mission forward.
New groups. New leaders. New cities. The mission expands. Nobody graduates from discipleship.
Each document serves a different audience while sharing the same Kingdom DNA.
The biblical constitution. The why behind everything. Non-negotiable principles drawn directly from Jesus' pattern of discipleship and multiplication.
Movement governance for city leaders and boards. Vision, leadership pipeline, assessments, KPI framework, and expansion strategy.
The field manual for group leaders. Step-by-step implementation from Kingdom Readiness through Multiplication, with checklists, timelines, and facilitation guides.
Circle + GoHighLevel architecture. Tag systems, workflow pipelines, assessment automations, and dashboard design for technology teams.
The OneStep PDX discipleship path will be in motion long before the event. By Good Friday 2027, the parachurch partners who said yes will have already stepped out — and the stories of what God has done in Portland will be the testimony that fills the room.
This is not a program launch. It's a celebration of a movement already underway.
